New Arrival!

Just a quick post to let you know why I haven't updated the blog for a while. Last Tuesday I was admitted to hospital after my waters ruptured. I gave birth to Anaki Maggie Robyn Uthmann on Saturday 4th February at 5.34am.

Anaki was born 6 weeks early and spent 3 days in the Special Care Nursery. Both mum and baby were discharged on Wednesday 8th February and are settling in well at home.

As a result the D&W research has been sidelined while mum gets her life together and bonds with her new child.

Will be back on track in no time!! Stay tuned!!

Congratulations. My 4 year old was a 34 weeker, and my 9 year old was a 31 weeker. Staying just 3 days in the SCN is brilliant.

Please try to rest up. If she's a small 34 weeker, she'll need very frequent feeding and be more disorganised than your other baby. [Hugs]
